Permanent, Part Time (32.5 hours per week), from 8.20am – 3.20pm, term time only

We are looking for School Assistants to support students at Archbishop Holgate’s School in a range of learning settings by fostering a positive working environment, so that students are engaged, on task and able to access the curriculum as fully as possible.

Specialist School Assistant to provide support for deaf students

Archbishop Holgate’s School

Grade 4 – £14,266 per annum (this is the pro rata salary)

Required for September 2022

We are looking for a specialist School Assistant to provide curriculum support to enable deaf students in the school to fully access their learning.  Your support will help to ensure students are engaged, included, enjoying their school life and achieving their potential.  You will utilise a range of communication and support strategies including some sign.  You will therefore hold a BSL Level 2 qualification and be confident signing across the curriculum.
