We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join the Central Operations Team of our thriving Multi Academy Trust. The HR Business Partner will play a key role in supporting the Trust to be an employer of choice, providing effective, responsive and professional HR support across our schools and central team.

The postholder will ensure that HR policies, processes and practices are robust, consistent and effective, supporting the Trust to meet its legal and statutory responsibilities, including compliance with employment and data protection legislation and relevant statutory guidance.
They will provide trusted advice and guidance to leaders and managers, helping them to navigate complex people matters confidently and fairly. The HR Business Partner will also support the continued professional development of support staff, promoting high standards of service and continuous improvement.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estates professional to join the central team of our growing Multi Academy Trust, supporting our schools across multiple sites.
Working closely with the Finance Director, the successful candidate will take the lead on operational estates delivery across the organisation, ensuring all school environments remain safe, compliant, well-maintained and fully fit for purpose.
The post holder will have responsibility for the management and the successful delivery of the projects awarded under the School Condition Allocation funding rounds. This is a senior operational role with responsibility for overseeing planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites, ensuring statutory compliance is maintained in line with Department for Education guidance and wider health & safety legislation.
The Estates Manager will play a key role in driving consistency, performance and best practice across estates services while supporting school’s Site Managers through strong leadership and professional development.
The role will involve close collaboration with Headteachers and senior stakeholders, balancing local operational requirements with wider organisational priorities.

Finance Director

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Director, or an ambitious and suitably qualified individual, to join the Central Executive Team of our thriving Multi Academy Trust.
The Finance Director will provide leadership and management of all aspects of finance, as well as being a key member of the Trust’s Strategic Leadership Team. The role will fulfil the Chief Financial Officer function (CFO) when representing the Trust. You will also have responsibility for financial management, providing technical leadership and support in all accounting matters across the Trust.
The role will include regular reporting and the production of high-quality reports in a timely manner enabling informed decisions to be made. The Finance Director will keep ahead of funding and legislative changes that apply to the education sector and will provide the Board of Trustees with strategic financial information to enable them to make informed financial decisions. You also will be responsible for the operational line management of the finance function, managing all financial accounting and transactional finance for the Trust.
The Finance Director will monitor financial performance and drive change within the finance operation of the Trust, bringing greater efficiency. Robust systems, processes and controls will be implemented, ensuring all financial information is up-to-date and reporting is in line with required annual financial returns.

Exam Invigilator

Malton School is looking for an enthusiastic and well supportive person to work within our Exam Invigilator team.
Exam Invigilators play a vital role throughout the academic year supporting internal and external examinations for all year groups at our school. The role requires you to be patient and supportive of our students whilst adhering to the board guidance for examinations. Invigilation may be in a hall venue with a whole year group supported by other colleagues or in a small room venue supporting more vulnerable students. There will be numerous ‘examination periods’ throughout the year, some being internal examinations and the key period of mid-May to mid-June for the GCSE examinations.
To be considered for the role of Exam Invigilator you will:
• be reliable, flexible and readily available during main exam periods
• have effective communication skills and good interpersonal skills
• work well as part of a team
• be confident and a reassuring presence to candidates in exam rooms
• be able to give instructions and manage situations involving different groups of people
• have basic IT skills (familiar with use of email, mobile phone messaging etc.)
