Business Admin Apprentice

Pathfinder Multi Academy Trust

Apprentice National Minimum Wage.

Full time – 37 hours per week. Term Time Only. 1 day per week release time to attend college.

This contract is fixed term for the duration of the apprenticeship.

There may be occasions where you would be required to work evenings and weekends to attend specific events.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our thriving Multi Academy Trust which consists of ten schools across York. We have one large secondary school, a teaching school hub and nine primary schools serving more than 3,800 pupils and their families.

We are looking to appoint an Business Admin Apprentice to provide an efficient and effective reception, secretarial and admin support function to the Central Team and Teaching School hub. This will be an interesting and varied role, whilst also working towards a Level 3 Business Administrator Course with York College.

Teaching Assistant Level 3/4 – SEN support

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Archbishop Holgate’s for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a specialist team to provide 2:1 SEN support  for a child joining the school this September.

As part of the team, not only will you be providing close personal care, but also supporting class teachers with the planning and adaptation of resources to provide a quality learning environment for the student.  The ideal candidate will:

  • Have relevant qualifications and experience in working with children, ideally with experience
    with those with complex additional needs.
  • Be flexible in their approach to the needs of the child.
  • Have high expectations of all children.
  • Be willing to take part in relevant CPD in order to support the child.
  • Be able to work with outside agencies and communicate with parents.

This post is specific to the child’s needs which will be reviewed regularly.
