Schools should be enjoyable and enriching for children and positive and rewarding for staff. Whilst continuing to value the things that make each school unique, we have a shared ambition for the future, one that ensures that everyone across our school communities feel a sense of belonging and are supported to achieve and thrive.

We believe that the best way we can ‘Set the course, Lead the way, Serve and inspire’ is to ensure that across Pathfinder:

  • Our schools are places where all staff are proud to work
    Staff feel supported and that their professional development is prioritised
  • Our schools are places where all children enjoy attending
    Children benefit from an excellent education that is both academic and enriching
  • Our schools are places where all parents/carers are pleased to send their children
    Families work in partnership, embedding trust and reputation across the community
  • Our schools are places where everyone has a sense of belonging
    Staff, children and families all benefit from being part of a school community

By doing this, everything we do across our family of schools is built on firm foundations.

Pathfinder schools are inclusive communities. As we move forward collectively, we do so through the lens of ensuring we continue to support everyone in our school communities, especially those who are most vulnerable, ensuring that no one is left behind. This is reflected in the theological rooted Christian vision that is embedded across each of our Church schools:

Everyone across our school communities has a valuable part to play in the life of our schools. Central to our Christian Mission is ensuring that we nurture, celebrate and value the individual gifts and talents that make each of us unique. By doing this we will continue to shape school communities that are diverse and inclusive, places where everyone feels that they belong.
